EXPLORE THE INREDIBLE LEGACY OF STEVE IRWIN & WILDLIFE DYNAMISM OF AJITH
(Chairman of Yala Ajith Safari and Ajith Diamond Tour in Sri Lanka) as we share a glimpse of their wildlife adventure together.

We need not make any introduction to the legendary Australian wildlife expert and television personality, Stephen Robert Irwin (22 February 1962 – 4 September 2006) affectionately known as
“The Crocodile Hunter”
It was an incredibly fortunate privilege for me to meet with Steve Irwin in Tissamaharama, Sri Lanka, where we embarked on an epic adventure to produce a documentary film titled “Snake of Island.”
The Ajith Safari team and I were fortunate enough to travel with Steve across Sri Lanka for a period of 9 days exploring the rich wildlife and breathtaking landscapes of the island.
Ajith Priyantha, quotes
One of the things that struck me about Steve was his unwavering passion for conservatism and respect for the environment by sharing his passion for wildlife and the natural world in a way which engaged people. He was a true role model who led by example, inspiring others to appreciate and protect the natural world. He never preached or forced his beliefs on others, but instead, shared his excitement and enthusiasm with everyone he met. During our journey together, Steve’s infectious energy, individuality, and optimism were very evident for all to see.
Steve was a true adventurer, always up for anything and everything. He had an enthusiasm for life, coupled with a spontaneous and adventurous spirit that cannot really be found or even heard of nowadays.
He had a natural inclination towards people and relished forming new relationships. His genuine love for life and people made him an influential figure not just in the world of wildlife, but in the hearts of those he encountered. I was deeply moved in the nine days I spent with Steve and the incredible human beings we met along the way. He was a friendly, supportive person, always willing to seize any opportunity that came his way. Steve had an easy-going nature and was happy to go with the flow, thereby introducing me to a whole new world.
The memories of our time together will remain etched in my mind forever.
Today, Steve’s legacy continues to live on, inspiring new generations to appreciate and protect the natural world. His work with animal charities and his organization to rescue and protect crocodiles serves as a reminder of his unwavering commitment to wildlife conservation.
In conclusion, Steve Irwin was an extraordinary human being who touched the lives of millions with his magnetic presence, love of life, and unwavering commitment to wildlife conservation.
His journey with Ajith in Sri Lanka is a testament to his adventurous spirit and the impact he had on the people he met.
Let’s continue to honor his memory by protecting the natural world and preserving the legacy of one of the greatest wildlife experts of all time.
