Sri Lanka recorded 77,482 international tourist arrivals from 1st to 10th August 2025, according to the latest Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) statistics. This performance highlights the country’s continuing recovery in the tourism sector and reflects sustained global interest in Sri Lanka’s diverse travel offerings.

Daily Arrival Trends

The first week of August saw consistent visitor numbers, peaking at 8,481 arrivals on August 2nd. Other strong days included August 1st (8,140 arrivals) and August 9th (8,204 arrivals). The lowest day was August 6th with 6,494 arrivals.

Top Ten Source Markets – Early August 2025
