Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your booking and participation in tours operated by Ajith Safari Jeep Tours (trading as Ajith Safari Jeep Tours, “we”, “us” or “our”) via yalawild.com.

Booking & Payment

  • Confirmation
    Your booking is confirmed only once we receive your deposit or full payment. You will receive an email confirmation with your tour details.

  • Payment Methods

    • Visa & MasterCard (any card fees borne by you)

    • Direct bank deposit (all transfer fees borne by you)

    • Secure online payment via invoice portal

  • Pricing
    All prices are quoted in USD (or local currency) and include vehicle, guide services, and applicable service fees. Entrance fees to the park (e.g. LKR 13,000/person) are additional unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • By You (the Client)

    • Up to 24 hours before tour start: Full refund of payments received (minus any transaction fees).

    • Less than 24 hours before tour start or no‑show: No refund.

    • To cancel, email info@yalawild.com with your booking reference. Refunds are processed within 3–5 weeks; international remittances may incur additional delays due to Central Bank regulations.

  • By Us (Yala Wild)
    In the unlikely event we must cancel your tour (e.g. park closures, severe weather):

    • Before departure: 100% refund of tour cost.

    • After tour commencement: Pro‑rata refund for cancelled portion.

Amendments & No‑Shows

  • Changes
    Any request to change tour date, group size, or pick‑up details must be sent to info@yalawild.com at least 24 hours before departure. Changes are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.

  • No‑Show
    Failure to appear at the agreed pick‑up time and place without prior notice is treated as a cancellation; no refund will apply.Health & Fitness

Guests should ensure they are in good physical condition for safari activities, which may involve rough roads, early starts, and long durations. Any medical conditions or mobility issues must be disclosed prior to booking. Participation is at the guest’s own risk.

FHealth, Fitness & Safety

  • Safaris may involve bumpy roads, early starts, and long durations. You must disclose any medical or mobility issues before booking.

  • Participation is at your own risk; follow all guide instructions and park regulations.

Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, personal accident, and baggage loss is mandatory. Credit‑card‑only insurance is not sufficient.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or non‑performance caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, or severe weather.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ajith Safari Jeep Tour’s liability for any loss, injury, or damage is limited to the total amount you paid for the tour. We accept no liability for death, injury, or damage resulting from your own negligence, wildlife encounters, or third‑party actions.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Sri Lankan courts.Photography & Media

By participating in our safaris, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform us in writing prior to your safari.

Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed only once a deposit or full payment has been received. You will receive written confirmation by email.

By confirming your booking and making payment, you acknowledge and agree to the above Terms & Conditions.
