How much is a Yala safari in 2025?

Half-day shared jeep: USD 15 per person (tickets extra). Private full-day: USD 46 per jeep, lunch optional. National-park entrance tickets cost 13 000 LKR (≈ USD 43) per non-SAARC adult and are paid separately.

Is hotel pick-up included?

Yes – free pick-up from Tissamaharama, Kataragama and Kirinda hotels. Other areas can be arranged for a small fuel surcharge.

What wildlife can I expect to see?

Leopards year-round, sloth bears May–July, plus 215 + bird species (migratory birds November–March).
